We have more sad news to report. For those who remember us from our Morrison House days, you’ll remember a wonderful guy named Harry Kabel. He’s actually pictured above in the red sweater sitting at the bar watching another departed friend, Uncle Louis Levy. He’d never sung in public at all until he sang with us. He was a quick study, though, and got really good really fast. One he started coming to see us, he couldn’t be stopped. He came week after week and everyone always enjoyed his singing. Sadly, he died just yesterday and we thought you should all know. We will all miss him greatly…
At Everly Wheatley, Braddock Rd. Alexandria, VA www.everlywheatley.com. The first viewing wil be next Tues. Jan. 30th from 4 – 8 pm. Second viewing is Wed. Jan. 31st. between 9 and 10 am. followed by the Service at 10 am. Following the service will be a procession to the Ivey Hill Cemetery in Alexandria for the interment.
In the planning stages is an informal gathering at Landini Brothers for all who came to know and love Harry. If anyone hears of this, please post it.
