It is with deep regret that we inform you that our dear friend and wonderful singer/composer passed away on December 23rd at the age of 86.  Those who knew him have lost a tremendous light.  He was so charismatic that he could make anyone listen and enjoy him – no matter their age or background.  Louis was quite simply that good.  We’ll miss his fun way with a lyric and his sensitivity as well.  He wrote one of the prettiest tunes I’ve ever heard many years ago and dedicated it to his wife, Wilma – a tune called “I Can Hear Your Whisper”.  Here’s a version we recorded back in 2012:

All of us in the “Open Mic” community will miss “Uncle Louis” terribly.  His obituary can be viewed by clicking (here).
